Steel Visions P400 Auto Darkening Welding Helmet will protect the operators’ eyes from injuries caused by arc. It is automatic, hands-free, and completely user-friendly. Making this an essential tool for any welder be it professional or DIYer.

The helmet can be used for various welding, cutting, spraying and arc gouging, etc. with the results being an enhanced weld quality, increased efficiency, and improved safety because of better vision for the user.

The True Colour viewing allows for the user to be looking at their work without distortion or distraction and the clear view produces an unparalleled welding experience.

The Pro400 helmets are equipped with a filter set that can auto-darken. The filter is transparent before welding, so the operators may observe the work surface clearly. When striking arc, the filter darkens automatically and immediately. When the arc goes out, the filter becomes transparent again. The switching time from light to dark is as fast as 0.3ms. While the switching time from dark to light may be set up within 0.1-0.9 seconds.  The mask is equipped with 2 sets of photo-sensors in the Pro 400 to sense arc light. In addition, the mask is also provided with an outer protection plate made of high polymer materials. The plate is wear-resistant and thermostable.
